DNS Drop through VPN site to site

Hi Community,

recently I'm facing an issue, created VPN site to site between tow offices, everything is OK, just the DNS is drop.

Example:-


I can ping Share Server 10.10.10.10.

but when try to ping sharefolder.domain.com is not working, Ping request could not find host sharefolder.domain.com. Please check the name and try again.

also can not access through the browser, but if I use the IP can access it.

    Hi Toby,

    Would be interesting getting to know more on your issue. Please share more info about your config such as:

    - which DNS clients are using (internal or XG) ?

    - is DNS service enabled on VPN/LAN/DMZ zone (Administration > Device Access) ?

    - How did you configure DNS forwarders on XG (Network > DNS) ?

    If that worked before I suppose there was a config change or an update at some point.

    Last week i figure out the issue and how to fix it, simply just not depend on the VPN auto-create rule.

    Need to create rules allow other VPN site to access LAN. and also for special ports Any not mean all ports.
