After installing, sophos xg dont see hard drive after reboot

Is anybody there ?

What version of the XG are you trying to install v17 or v18?

How many NICs does your hardware has?

I'm running into this same issue.

I have a Qotom Q355G4 with 4GB RAM and 64GB mSSD.  I was able to get the installer to boot by using Rufus to burn the USB drive in DD mode.

The installation appears to go fine, but when it's complete I remove the USB drive and it doesn't boot.

If i re-insert the installer and hit 'c' to get a grub command line, i can see a /boot partition that is populated with a few files, and what appears to be a root partition that is empty.  

I've tried forcing UEFI for the boot but the drive doesn't even show up (presumably b/c of no UEFI partition).

This is with SW-18.0.1_MR-1-Build396-396.iso just downloaded today.

My hardware is a 2 core HP terminal with one ethernet interface + 2 additional usb->ethernet adapter (worked flawlessly with UTM9, but 9 has no option to filter IMAP, so i wanted to try out XG).

Hi,

USB interfaces are not generally supported on XG. You would need to install a VM, then the XG for them to work.

Ethernet ports via usb have meaning AFTER installation process (XG version of firewall will recognize or not them to use). What we are talking now however is potential bug at partitioning/formating level at xg software.

ps. mentioned above Qotom Q355G4 has 4 eth interfaces, and also the same problem.
