VPN issue

Hello Hager,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

1) I would check the port being used by the SSL VPN, and try to use 443 as this is regularly open at the ISP level for home users.

2) Try using Sophos Connect Client (this one uses port 500 & 4500).

3) A RED device which uses port 3400 & 3410

But I think to change the port that SSL VPN uses to 443 would be the best alternative.

The Sophos Connect client available with the Sophos firmware version 17.5 is an IPSEC vpn client, not a SSL vpn client.
You'll find more information about its configuration here https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/133109.

However, since 21 Apr 2020 there is the Sophos Connect 2.0 - Early Access Program.
This new Sophos Connect client also supports SSL vpn. I haven't tried it yet myself, but you'll find more information about it here https://community.sophos.com/products/xg-firewall/sfos-eap/sophos-connect-eap/b/announcements/posts/sophos-connect-2-0-early-access
