Hi Keyur as a Sophos Partner, can you advise on how we would migrate from UTM version 9.7? When we try to upload our 9.7 config we are getting an error stating the version is not supported. Is there an update to the Migration tool firmware? The latest I could find was SMA2. Is the migration tool no longer being updated?

which version of XG are you trying to migrate to might be the issue?

We receive an error stating the UTM version is not supported. When you choose to migrate from UTM to XG you do not pick a version of XG you want to migrate to, you simply migrate the config file from one to another. We are getting an error at the start of the conversation process stating the UTM firmware is not supported.

We are partner and I downloaded the latest available version of the tool (SW-SMAOS_17.0.0_SMA_2-1818.iso).

I cannot migrate a 9.702-1 UTM configuration:

You could simply edit the Backup File via Notepad and remove the reference for 9.700. 

I edited the file using notepad++:

• first try: editing to version to 9.6
• second try: remove the entire line

Same result, the process remains at this state :

Did you use a space or something like that in the name of the migration in the Tool?
