firewall Port 443 open on WAN

Hi, we just finished setting up our XG125, we noticed after a port scan port 443 is open, I found this https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/f/network-protection-firewall-nat-qos-ips/38279/port-443-open-from-outside-but-no-rule#

but I can't find the  Go System >> WebAdmin Settings and change Allowed Networks to Internal. If port 443 is available from the outside, you probably have Allowed Networks set to Any

Thanks

  • Hi Shon,

This description is from Sophos SG... and you are within SG-Usergroup here ... but i'll try to help.

With XG you define administrative access at interface level. Than have a page where you see admin-access (ping/ssh/webadmin) within a table.
    But 443 looks like a user-portal...
Try: Administration > Device access and check the user portal and HTTPS service for WAN zone

Your XG has bound the scanned IP directly to the device ... or do you use NAT/portforwarding/exposed hsot/ ... at the provider router?
