We need to wait for a Sophos update.

  Ah…… Many commercial software has been a lot of problems because of this policy. I never thought this was the same problem.

If it helps, I had Sophos Connect working on my Mac prior to upgrading to Catalina, and it continues to work after that upgrade.  On my laptop with Catalina, I did not have Sophos Connect installed and it exhibits the same behavior as mentioned above.  So its seems the problem is only when importing a new connection in Catalina.  It's too bad we can't copy whatever connection info gets saved to the library on a working machine to a new one.

I hope you have upgraded to Sophos Connect 1.4 which supports MacOS Catalina. That issue is fixed with Sophos Connect 1.4 release.
