How can i bridge an interface to RED from XG

so

i have an XG version 17.5.7...we dont have any sophos wireless devices except for one of our remote offices that has RED15W

the RED has its own subnet, and i have another subnet at the main location i want it to be used for wifi clients at that remote location and keep the main subnet they are using now for the ethernet connections

i added a wireless network through the XG but the bridge didnt show up with the interface list, if i add it manually by Bridging the RED with the local subnet i need to pass to this location will this effect the ethernet connections there?

  • I guess ,that is not possible..

You cannot bridge the Traffic of a AP into another Subnet.

Basically bridge to AP LAN is build for this, but AP Lan would be 192.168.5.0/24 in that case.

    The interface is not selectable.

If you would bridge the RED15w Interface into your interface 1, your RED would get the same network, so basically you could use the same network on wireless.
