Backup compatibility

I have some questions about SFOS backups:

  • It is not possible to restore a backup from the XG135 to the XG210. As far as I can see, this is due to the number of ports.
  • It is also not possible to transfer a backup from an XG106w to an XG106. Of course, this is also due to the missing WLAN module.

Can these restrictions be work around?

    XG135 to XG210 should be possible.

    XG135 to SG210 is not possible.

     

    Note: The appliance you are restoring to, that is the destination device, can not be an SG model.
