IPS disabled however rules still seem to be being applied

Question

I've recently noticed that despite my installation of XG having never ran IPS and never been configured for this rules seem to be being applied. None of my firewall rules have an IPS rule enabled nor can I find any settings else where related to this which are enabled.

 Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi, 
 the IPS is used whether you have it in rules or not, it is part of the packet/application classification function.
