When is MR-6 due to be released with the garner fix?

The point currently is, it seems to be another issue right now, which is getting dig into with Garner.
"Development is working on this , the work-around which we can use is "alert notifications"(Administration->Notifications settings->Alert notifications) be disabled and restart the garner."
Can you try this option first?
Followup question. Is there a KBA on the garner restart process? I have checked the KBA and can only find references to the forum threads.
If you have implemented Tor or Psiphon blocking you need to add exceptions to access the private websites posted in the forums.

Quite simple to restart the garner service
Restart Garner Service: Login to XG Console> Select Option 5 Device Management> Select Option 3 Advanced Shell
Execute the following command: service garner:restart -ds nosync
Note: The result must be "OK"
We are waiting for MR6 to fix this as well
thanks - I've just spoken to our customer whose XG had the problem with garner.
As a rule, unless there is a serious bug , we recommend to our customers that they hold off manually installing the updates.
If a customer needs guaranteed logging ( eg: for compliance purposes) and it would put them at risk of a breach of ISO policy ( for example) if the garner service kept stopping, then the manual update would definitely be an option.
