ReportDB stops reporting each day

Hi I'm having a issue with reporting on the XG.

 

The reporting all works correctly, however the next day reporting will just say: No record found

 

The reportDB service is running however if I restart the service the reporting works again until the next day and I have to keep restarting ReportDB.

 

Does anyone know how to fix this? The server has 180GB free.

  • Sounds like bug: NC-38176

    You can check the output of 'less /log/garner.log.0' to see if it shows memory corruption on garner, as below:

    ERROR     [4120435520]: SSL_read failed ret:5
    *** Error in `garner': double free or corruption (!prev): 0xf331bc68 ***
    *** Error in `garner': malloc(): memory corruption: 0xf331c1a0 ***

    We had a similar issue on 17.1.3 and upgraded to the latest release, which has fixed the issue.

    Thanks for your reply. I've just had a look in garner.log to see if I had the memory corruption error. 

     

    I haven't got that error in there. As a result Sophos support have got their GES team looking into it.
