Firewall lost connection to Sophos Central

Over the past few weeks two of my Sophos XG firewalls (latest build) email me with the following error: "Firewall lost connection to Sophos Central".  At the sites the Internet and the VPN tunnels are not effected and are still working.  Sometimes I get several of these messages in a row then they go away for a day or so then come back.  Has anyone seen this before and know how to fix it?  Thanks.

  • OK, figured it out.  In your partner portal, go to Settings & Policies. There is a setting there for Partner Control that is off. I turned it on and now that option shows up in the client's admin portal. I presume that means if I had logged into the cloud.sophos.com as the client and not gone through the partner portal it probably would have been there.
