Two Sites Wired Connectivity between Sophos XG to Fortunate Firewall

Hello All,

I have a Client that has 2 sites Site A has Sophia XG 550 and Site B has Fortigate. Now he wants to connect both site through local network. Like site A has 192.168.10.101 and Site B has 192.168.10.102 for access some resources on both site. How to configure it on Sophos end.

Please Help.

    Hello,

    I know there is a option for site to site vpn configuration.  But I want to connect it without any VPN. As I mentioned there is a direct connection between sites through wire. I have connect it one port and created a new zone name P2P. That zone is part of Lan.

    Hello ,

    Since you have similar networks on both ends the setup would not work. If you have a P2P connection then the local route i.e. Kernal route will take higher precedence over static or dynamic routes. So if you try to communicate with the remote network then the traffic will not be forwarded to P2P connection.

    I would strongly advise you to either change the network on one of these sites or connect IPsec and use NAT transversal to map with another/virtual subnet.
