Migration UTM to XG

Hello,

I am interested in switching to the XG. Questions:

- Is it worth switching from UTM to XG from now on?
- If not, is it worth migrating from version 18?
- When will version 18 be available?
- What are the current problems with XG that I don't have with UTM?

My setup is for private branches (home version) - do I have to consider something here?

    Since you have UTM, I would say do not touch XG before v18 is released next year (mid 2020).  Do not hope to see v18 this year.

    Or look at other products available.  Moving to XG will certainly not gonna be easier than going to anyone else.

    It becomes a matter of budget, who supports you (what local IT shops sells), speed required, et.c.

    Do not use XG 17.x

    This Produkt has some design flaws (for the last two years) and some of the basic features stopped working in the latest two releases.

    Simple feature that are working fine in UTM are missing at all.

    Ok, I will keep my hands off it at the moment, too many persons recommend staying with UTM. I'm a little surprised about the feedback. Thanks a lot for the answers.
