Sophos AP Configuration Behind L3 Switch

Hello,

We have Sophos XG 430 firewall and Two Sophos access point(AP 55c and AP 100c).In network, we are using Cisco L3 switch where multiple VLANs are configured and We are using Windows server as DHCP server for users.

We have tried multiple time to register these device (AP) on Sophos firewall but no luck.

Now my query is,How can we manage these Sophos APs from network (behind L3 switch).

  • Hi,

How have you configured the APs eg bridged to LAN or bridged to VLAN?

Are you able to see an IP address assigned to each AP in the DHCP server?

Are the APs on an Untagged port?

  • Hi,

We want to configured it as bridged to VLAN because we have multiple VLAN on L3 switch and that VLAN's will make broadcast via SSID.

Yes, APs can get IP from Windows DHCP server but we are unable to see that AP on firewall.

APs are connected on Trunk Port.
