adding another subnet to XG

Hi Guys.

I have my main subnet applied to my wan interface.

My ISP has assigned me another subnet to use on separate interfaces. How do I go about doing this when the machine I want to connect to the interface has the public IP address to be used? This is quite easy on a Mikrotik. I just assign the new subnet to an interface, and then directly connect whatever I need on that interface.

This doesn't seem to be the case on an XG?

  • Hi,

it is exactly the same on the XG. What size subnet, I assume it is for internal use?

Your firewall rule would not require a MASQ for the new range is used internally.
