Can't restore backup file received by email

Question

Hi, I use the scheduled backup option to receive the config by mail but when I try to restore it using the file i received by email it doesn't work for an unknown reason 
 manual backup stored locally can be restored just fine 
 does anyone know what could be the problem and how to resolve this ?

Hi, 
 I would think that you might have encrypted the backup when you mailed it to you. 
 Pleaser review your backup settings to see if you have encrypted it?
