Philips HUE Lights - Not able to see hub

Hello,

I'm sorry that I'm a newbie to Sophos. I'm hoping this is an easy fix for you all.  I have my Philips HUE hub behind the XG.  I see that it has an IP address but I cannot reach it from inside my network.  My iphone (wireless on XG) and my computer (wired) cannot see the hub (wired).  All of this is behind the XG.  The hub looks like it can reach externally (all lights are on).

Do any of you have any suggestions on how to get the devices to see each other behind the XG?

Many thanks in advance. I really appreciate it.

Rob

  • Short question: If you client is connected via wired and cannot access it, can you explain your network topology?

    Is everything connected to a switch and then one wire to XG or everything connected to the XG directly?

  • Thanks so much for getting back to me.

    HUE HUB --> Sophos XG Wired

    Computer --> Sophos XG Wired

    iPhone --> Sophos XG Wireless (the wireless is part of the XG)

    I have the three ports on the XG as one bridge.

    The computer can see that the HUE has an IP address but I cannot access the HUE web GUI that I usually can...

    I'm not currently running a switch.

    I'm running the default rules.

    Also - not sure if its part of the same problem but my printer cannot print if its networked (both wired and wireless to the XG).
