Lost access to XG Firewall box on port 4444

Hi,

Today I tried to access the XG box on the usual port of 4444 for admin however it refused the connection. I have tried several times over the LAN and it doesnt respond. 

I can access the user portal ok just not the admin pages. 

I have tried on the VPN as well but this also fails and I have restarted the box as well to see if it helped but it didnt. 

anyone else experienced this? I have a backup of the config from last update so I can restore this I believe but I know we have made changes since and I would be happier to not have to setup the config again. 

Any possible way to rectify this at all?

  • Hi, Thanks for the response, thought I would update this as the above didn't work for me but I was able to reset the configuration to the previous version which allowed me access.

    I then had to restore our latest backup and reconfigure to put us up to date. Now working fine.
