Auto update not working/seeing updates?

Auto update on my XG seems to be borked. The last auto update I received was for 17.0.6 and have received none since. I manually updated to 17.0.8 hoping this would fix the issue, but I have not received notices for 17.1 or 17.1.1. I can manually install, but would like to get this fixed for convenience. Should be noted that I am running on non-Sophos hardware (Watchguard XTM5). Thx in advance.

May I ask what specific model of Sophos XG you're currently using.

I am not using Sophos hardware. I am running on Watchguard XTM5 hardware which is x86 platform.

Im afraid mate that is one of SophosXG home limit thesame thing with my Virtualized SophosXG home.

But I suggest not to upgrade to 17.1 FW as it will cost you RAM. SophosXG home only using 6gb RAM maximum.

Interesting because the auto update had been working previously. Did your auto update work before? Also how much ram increase are you seeing?

As per whitepapers it only maximum of 6gb. Yes correct notification update is automatic since 2months ago as I remember.

Hi folks,

auto notification has worked for all releases except 17.1 GA.

I am not sure what your issue with memory is, my XG has 6gb, physical and is sitting at 40%, though it is not being heavily used at the moment. Normally rises to about 56%.

Thx for clarifying rfcat_vk. I'm gonna wait to see if I get the notification for MR1 as I definitely didn't get notified back at 17.06 - > 17.0.8. Info about the rollout for 17.1GA was sparse and I could never confirm if I should have seen it until now.

Also, I am well aware of the 6GB limit and was asking him for numbers supporting the general increase in memory statement which seems to be unfounded at this point.
