Can't move AP15 from SOPHOS Central to XG Firewall

Hi,

I have an AP15 which is registered in SOPHOS Central, but I'd like to manage it from my SOPHOS XG.

Anyone knows how I can do it ?

Are you using Windows as DHCP server? If yes, you need to configure DHCP option 234 on your DHCP Server. You can refer the KB article for detailed steps.

Hi,

I think Central managed and XG managed has different firmware, so you may need to flash the AP .

Hi Ronak,

Sorry for my late answer.
DHCP server is a Windows server, and option 234 is ok on it. My AP15C get an IP from it.

But my XG didn't see the AP ...

Hello Johan LE HELLOCO

Have you ever used this AP with sophos central? If yes, you will need to connect it back to sophos central and get it unregistered.

Also verify whether you have enabled the "wireless protection" under Device Access on the zone where you have connected your AP?

Also verify whether AP traffic us coming to XG using packet capture tool on GUI on host AP-IP port 2712.

Ok guys, have my point resolve : SOPHOS Support can do nothing with AP15 not being seen again.

So I had a RMA and a new AP is coming to my place.
