error while configuring sophos mobile control args error

I'm trying to install SMC on a Windows 2008 Server (VM). In the Configuration Wizard in the step Server Information - Please verify server information, clicking next results in the error dialog saying "error while configuring sophos mobile control args error".

I'm stuck at this point.
