Sophos Secure Email for iOS - Notification problem

Hi there,

We are testing Sophos Secure Email on iOS (Ver. 6.11.9) and noticed that the notification for new messages only works when the app runs in Background. We also noticed that the notification for new messages often appears very delayed (sometimes about 15 Minutes).

When the app is completely closed the notification never works. The Background App Refresh setting for Secure Email is enabled.

Is this behavior normal?

    of course the Sophos Secure Email app is steadily developed and improved.

    This particular iOS notification issue however will be fixed in a version currently scheduled for early June as major changes have to be done within the application.

    I am aware that this causes a lot of trouble for your users. As an alternative you can still configure the built-in email account.
