Sophos Endpoitn Secuity and Control 10.3 is not update

when trying to use an alternative
where do you enter these explicit URLs? You should use just Sophos. AFAIK the es-web- addresses are no longer available. BTW - which kind of license do you have?

I am also having trouble when trying to update Sophos Endpoint Security and Control 10.3, getting an error message 'Could not contact server' . The address I'm using is Sophos. The last time my Sophos updated was on 10/04/2016, any help in resolving this would be much appreciated.

I enter the URLs in :

Properties for Sophos AutoUpdate -> Primary Location -> Address

The fist URL (es-web-2.sophos.com) is used when I enter "Sopohs".

this sounds like an outdated version. If you View product information with the GUI, what do Anti-Virus and HIPS - Software - Sophos Anti-Virus and Updating - Software - Sophos AutoUpdate say? I should have noticed that you've mentioned sdds.esc_10_2.xml - another thing from the past.
If you have indeed an old version of AutoUpdate as I assume - how come? Did it update until recently?

I deleted everything and installed version 10.6. Now everything works just fine.
