server not able to update

i have one windows 2008 server in my dmz segment that is always not able to update the definition.

installed sophos endpoint using workgroup/administrator account.

have followed most of the steps here, but still do not work

    Hello yeowkm,

    the ALUpdate log would be a start, it should show whether synchronization/download or install fails and give at least an indication of the cause.

    i have 2 updates server configured.

    1 is my console at LAN segment, 2nd one if from sophos server.

    thanks, but this is the summary ALC.log, the ALUpdate log should give more insight. I haven't encountered this particular error (could not upgrade the current version) though - which Endpoint version is installed on this server? Apart from the ALUpdate log the Sophos logs in %Windir%\TEMP\ might have some additional information.

    As this is a managed installation but not updating from the SEC server - does the server communicate with SEC (i.e. is it shown as connected in SEC and does it report its errors)? Has it never updated or did the errors start recently?
