Visual C++ Runtime Error

Hi,

I've recently noticed that while browsing webpages i get the following error being displayed,

At the same time the following error is logged in the Application log under Event ID 100,

Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus\Web Intelligence\swi_service.exe

Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus\Web Intelligence\swi_service.exe

Report Id: db661603-2436-11e3-a189-005056c00008

The Web Intelligence Service then seems to restart.

Is this a known issue? If not, is there anything i can do to resolve this?

    Sort of.  We haven't had many reports - very few in fact.

    I've searched around for information on this.  It seems that a later/latest version of endpoint software may help - you're running 3.2.101.0 according to the error posted.  I've checked my computer:

    Try upgrading a computer experiencing the problem and see if that resolves it.

    If not Technical Support can troubleshoot further but they'll need logging (we do have a debug version of the swi_service.exe process.  They may even need a procdump of swi_service too.  If necessary open a ticket, attach an SDU output and quote WKI87030 speed things up.
