Was hoping somone could advise on a problem we're experiencing with email alerts. We have set up email alerts for the dashbaord and for our AV policy but when we try and test them, no emails are received.
I can telent from the server to our exchange server and successfully send a message but using the Test button in the Enerprise Console doesn't work.
Also, if I enter an incorrect SMTP server name or IP in the AV policy and click Test, it says successful which to me means the Test is actually doing nothing. If I do the same for the SMTP config on dashboard alerts it does recognize the incorrect server.
Anyone seen this before ? We're running Windows server 2012.
