The situation is possibly complicated by the fact that this machine is a Windows 2000 server which used to run an older versio n of Enterprise Console and Library (when we ran SAV 7.5 and since uninstalled). Also, the server still seems to be running MSSQL Server, I'm presuming to support the old Enterprise Console and Library.

The OMG in the log is a bit worrying!:smileyhappy:

Any insights appreciated.

  • Hi Christian,

    Thanks for posting.

This machine is a W2k server and so won't have RMS, but not sure what you mean by "reprotect the server". The server is now used only fro DHCP/DNS so it is just an endpoint now. I'll uninstall the Sophos instance, but I doubt it is anything to do with the stuff in the log. Any idea what that's about?

I've had a look at the current console (different server) and it is not showing up there, even though it looks to be updating ok.

    Thanks again.
