sophos anti virus questions

Hi,

I have a few questions about the sophos anti virus software. I have questions about the software such as component filepaths and settings. I have sophos anti virus software installed on my computer. I have a laptop running windows 7. It's a 64 bit os. I paid for it at a retail store. I do not have any free sophos products. I am not a company. I am a home user. I have some tech knowledge. Someone mentioned that this is the right place to post / ask about this type of stuff.

So I would like to ask if this is the right place for me to post? 


For example two things I would like to ask are.

What is the file path for the on access scanning logs? So I am able to get more detailed info. from scans.

I would also like to config a custom scan for certain file types but I do not see a option for this, am I missing something or If I am correct is there a workaround for this?

    Hi,

    Ok  that did not work I will try again.

    I forgot that I also wanted to try to post a hyperlink as well. Sorry for all these test posts, this should be my last TEST post. I wanted to make shore I can post a hyperlink so if I am talking to someone they will not have to wait for me to find out how to do this. Sometimes it may take me a little while to find things out ( like how to post a hyperlink)

    I am not shore what website I should try for this so I decided to use the sophos homepage.
