Updating suddenly stopped working

Question

Greetings, my first post. I have 3 machines running Sophos Endpoint Security and Control version 10.3 and all stopped updating today for some reason. Two of the computers are Windows XP and one Windows 7 Home. I have uninstalled and reinstalled on my computer and still have the same problem. My updating log shows the following? I have an interval error, source error and download error listed in the log pasted below, I'm totally baffled.

That's the one.

Do the following files download ok from the same computer just using a browser?

I wonder if the second error:

ERROR: [E73342] Checksum error: b9c447e91223c2cda105fc65a7eecabf

Is releated to file in the second URL being altered during download? The second .dat is actually the MSI file of SAV I believe.

I would start by checking the above file first.

Maybe also want to try clearing (where they exist) the directories:

C:\ProgramData\Sophos\AutoUpdate\Cache\

C:\ProgramData\Sophos\AutoUpdate\data\warehouse

and then force an update.

You could try downloading http://d1.sophosupd.com/update/b9c447e91223c2cda105fc65a7eecabfx000.dat on another computer and performing a file compare against the one downloaded on this computer? Maybe copy the "good" other file into the Warehouse directory on the failing computer mentioned above as a workaround.
