Hi,
is there a way to remotely uninstall the Sophos Endpoint Client components? Or do I have to uninstall all the components manually?
Thanks

Michael

Hello Michael,
So if Sophos breaks, it breaks completely
dunno what you are thinking of when you say breaks but I've never seen it to break completely. :smileyhappy:
In practically all cases where "something" got stuck (and these are rare anyway) and couldn't get resolved by just installing over the existing installation there were "external factors" involved. As the install is done completely using MSI you could encounter the "usual" problems in conjunction with MSI installs - whether these are e.g. registry corruption, incomplete installs (of another product) or locked files you'd also have to take other corrective actions (and uninstall would fail anyway). Another "class" of more or less unrecoverable problems is caused by, as I call it, haphazard hacking - i.e. instead of assessing the cause of the problem just searching "the Internet" for "solutions" and "tools" and applying them indiscriminately (just for completeness - using security products, whether commercial or free, together can have undesired effects even if they aren't directly competing).
