    Hello steveo,

    TP prevents the not to hot at the technical stuff ones from uninstalling as well as from modifying the settings (i.e. turning "it" off). You don't have Sophos on your old laptop and you've used your new one (brand new?, where from?) for some time before you had your first encounter with this ping and pop up?
