Cleaning up after this Shh-updat MESS

I have followed the steps in the article base. I am clearing my alerts now. This, however does not remove the alerts from the endpoint PC's. I still have 600+ asking me what is going on. We need a solution for the endpoints!!! I understand they are no longer affected with the javab-jb.ide but there is sitll a mess in their quarentined file. This is such a mess!! Please sophos help!! I cant get into support lines. I have a string of issues as a result. We will be going with a different product if this doesnt clear up soon. I will also no longer recomend Sophos to another business.

The fixit tool (http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/118323.aspx) does clear the QM now.

Also note that the /clearQuarantine:true option can be specified independently of the /fixIssues:true option to just perform the quarantine clear (as well as the non-destructive diagnostics).

The fixit tool you suggested is for files that have been deleted. I need something that removes the false positives from quarenteened. I ran a batch file that cleared them from the QM in the console. I still have alerts on the individual machines?

Hello apeeler, as i understand it the if you run the fixit tool with the following parameters:

cscript //nologo FixUpdate.vbs /clearQuarantine:true

this should clear the endpoint messages, I will speak to the KBA team about making this clearer, apologies for the issues you are currently dealing with, we will continue working on these sort of things and this feedback helps us improve it.
