install issue with windows 7 64 bits

trying to install endpoint security and data protection on Win 7, 64 bit.

The antivirus is installed but disabled and cannot connect to server to download updates, your assistance please.

    Good (sorry I asked - I wasn't sure).

    Did you try to install running setup.exe from the CID (share)? I assume the icon in the task bar is accessible - what is the default action listed when you right-click it? Can you open Sophos and if, is there an "Updating" section?

    If you can open "Configure updating" - does it show the correct location (i.e. the CID on the server)?
