Data Control on shared folder

Dear all,

Kindly advise me, how can i apply data control policy on shared folders in my network to prevent users to share and copy sensitive files ?

Thank you for the advises.

Best regards,

  • Hi

It is only possible to choose the target of data to be certain applications (e.g. browsers) or Floppy, optical or removable drives.  It also covers the CD burn area.

You're trying to prevent one user from writing to a share and another one reading from it?  Presumably they have write access to the share as the share is meant for some other purpose?  Are you trying to prevent cross department sharing of files?  Preventing Sales people accidentally sharing sensitive files in a public share?  I'm just trying to understand the use case a little more to suggest something else.

    Regards,

    Jak
