Sophos 10 and opening some websites

I have not encountered this problem so I can just point you to: How to troubleshoot LSP interactions with Endpoint Security and Control / Endpoint Protection.

We have the same issue from time to time.  Also some of our employees who travel have issue connecting to pages that redirect like Delta's gogo flight.   Below is what fixed the issues for us.

Problem

For the issues where pages like Yahoo.com display garbage on the page when accessed via IE or prompted to download a file when access via Firefox

Solution 1 - Uninstall then reinstall Sophos

Solution 2 - Download the Server 2003 platform sdk to extract the SPOrder.exe tool out of it and move the sophos entries towards the bottom (not sure if this decreases the web protection security but it might).

Solution 3 - http://community.sophos.com/t5/Sophos-Endpoint-Protection/Sophos-Endpoint-Security-And-Control-10-0-issues-with-google/m-p/20009#M8025 - see Jak's disable LSP (I think this decreases or removes the web protection but it fixes the problems ....)

There is a know issue with some websites with version 10.0.0 and 10.0.2, aparently this is going to be fixed in 10.0.4 however Support were unable to give us an ETA.
