Retiring NON-AD devices from Console

Hi,

We have an ever increasing number of devices in our console that are no longer active due to replacement or failure. Does anyone know if there is a way of having the Enterprise Console work to a cut off date of last contact and delete the device?

We don't use Active Directory so can't re-sync and I don't fancy trawling the console for dead devices!!

Neil.

  • If a computer was removed from the EC and later came back online, you mention it will readd to it. Will it readd to the Unassigned folder?

We decided with moving to EC5 SEPP 10, to do away with AD syncing and build a folder structure that is cleaner than syncing the hundreds of OU's we have for workstations that would all have the same policies.
