It looks quite ok to me except for the line that says "Installation of RMSNT skipped".  Can anyone please explain to me why I keep getting that message?  Was there a component that failed to install or something?

Thanks!

  • Hi - thanks for this info. I'm helping somebody with Endpoint Security Guard (set up at their college).

They've left college (gap year) so he's reliant on picking up updates from the "second choice" server - I assume that's how it works. Its "Sophos".   Date of "Virus data date" under help is 3/9/12.

The Protection icon says failed.  Looking in the log we always get 3 ERRORS (RMS, SAV, autoupdate) but thats from his school.   (I guess from "Sophos") SAV looks as if it updates ok but RMS and autoupdate don't have updates or are skipped.  (never any RMS updates from "Sophos" server).

Again, does this look ok (until he goes back to colledge in 12months). Thanks.
