savservice & scfservice CPU/Memory hogs...?

Hi,

Running freestanding SAV (7.6.20) & SCF (1.5.8) on a (don't laugh) old freestanding XP Professional System (SP3) - Both services seem to hog these two resources even when the machine's idling - I've tried the "restore defaults - On-Access scanning"; but to no avail...

Any ideas anyone?

Did you ever get a response from anyone on this? I have two machines doing the same thing... The machine becomes unusable.
