That is correct. The Central Migration Tool currently does not support remote databases. We currently are working on a version that will work with remote databases but we have no ETA at the moment.

Your option would be to either create a database on the Sophos Enterprise Console server, and migrate the DB over

or

You can run the Sophos Central Installer on all of your managed endpoints. To do this you would have to disable Tamper Protection on all the endpoints first and would need to run the installer downloaded from Sophos Central, and not the one emailed to them.

I have a few question about that KB.

Do I need to take these DB's with me to the new server (SEC server):

Sophos540 / SophosPATCH52 / SophosSecurity

I also have Sophos SafeGuard: Is the DB called: SophosENC52?
