Altiris deployment agent appears offline after installing sophos central endpoint

Please see if there is information recommended AV exclusions for your Altiris deployment agent, and add these to your Threat Protection Policy in Sophos Central.

You may also investigate which Sophos Component is causing the issue on the endpoint, following the steps here:

Did you have any luck with their suggestions?  I am experiencing the exact same issue.  If I remove Sophos - Altiris DAgent communicates back to the server fine; if I install Sophos, it ceases to provide that information or allow me to manage the computer - even though, if I were to login directly to the computer and check out DAgent, it looks like it's running.  It's like it's hanging up or something.

Not sure if related, but it mentions a known issue with DAgent and a July 21st early-release fix.  

Anywho, if you have an update to this ticket I'd be very interested.

I solved the problem by joining the clients to Early Acces Program for endpoint protection (which included the early release fix).
