Sophos Central suppress Gateway Status Alert

I have my XG v17.5 firewalls connected to our Sophos Central.

In the Alerts section of Sophos Central I get a lot of Gateway is Down / Up messages.

I have other ways of monitoring my internet connections and do not want these messages to appear in the Sophos Central Alerts.

How can I suppressed them.

Unfortunately, as of now, there is no specific mechanism available to modify the "Alerts" section as per your requirement, I will check and inform you if any alternative method is available, you may submit your request to ideas.sophos.com.

Please also share the alert screenshot for a reference.

As you can see I am getting a lot of 'connection' messages, we know these are due to bad internet at the clients site, and would like them suppressed.

With so many 'junk' alerts it can be easy to skip over a real one.
