Duplicate Device

Please help me to understand this.

Got alert form Sophos Central " Device has been detected as a duplicate device, for more information see knowledge base article 132029. ".

1) What do I need to do exactly? I cant find any duplicate User or PC / Endpoint.

2) If I found it, what exaclty I need to do?

3) What is the best practice to avoid this duplication on PC?

FYI, this PC has been reformat because windows crashed and unable to boot.

    Would you please confirm if you have cloned the machine using gold image? We do not recommend to delete the duplicated device, as all other devices that share that ID and would be subsequently de-duplicated will no longer be able to talk to Central or be successfully managed by them. If you have already deleted the devices, the only option will be to re-install. How many duplicate devices do you see under the central dashboard?
