Downloading medium installer

Hi

 

Newbie here!

 

Trying to install running the SophosInstall.sh

 

And I'm getting:

 

Checking we can connect to Sophos Cloud (at https://dzr-mcs-amzn-eu-west-1-9af7.upe.p.hmr.sophos.com/sophos/management/ep)...

Failed to connect to Sophos Cloud at https://dzr-mcs-amzn-eu-west-1-9af7.upe.p.hmr.sophos.com/sophos/management/ep (cURL error is [Couldn't connect to server]). Please check your firewall rules.
Cannot connect to Sophos Cloud.

 

Any ideas?

    Please make sure you have all the required ports are opened and domains are also accessible from your AWS instance.

    Please try to open the below-listed URLs in the browser:

    • dci.sophosupd.com
    • d1.sophosupd.com
    • d2.sophosupd.com
    • d3.sophosupd.com
    • dci.sophosupd.net
    • d1.sophosupd.net
    • d2.sophosupd.net
    • d3.sophosupd.net
    • t1.sophosupd.com
    • sdu-feedback.sophos.com
    • sophosxl.net
    • 4.sophosxl.net
    • samples.sophosxl.net
    • ocsp.globalsign.com
    • ocsp2.globalsign.com
    • crl.globalsign.com
    • crl.globalsign.net
    • ocsp.digicert.com
    • crl3.digicert.com
    • crl4.digicert.com

    If anyone of these is not accessible from the browser, you need to check the setting of your security appliance or Virtual private network by going through this article.

    If you don't have any Virtual private network or security appliance, you can contact AWS regarding the blockage of any of these URLs without any security appliance.

    As to your issue; check that you have a security group setup that allows access to the Sophos domains:

    Security group with full HTTP and HTTPS outbound access

    • Or if restricted outbound access is required, allow these HTTP and HTTPS domains through the proxy you are using:

      sophos.com
      sophosupd.com
      sophosupd.net
