Firewall has not checked in with Sophos Central

Maybe. the latest release on Central has the ability to change the email alert frequency of a particular alert.

Open the console and drill down into one of them. Under the Actions area you should see and Email Alert box where you can change the frequency.

This might do the trick.

I have changed Email Alert to "Never" the default setting is "Daily"

We have multiple firewalls and I see that all these alerts come only from the HA setup.
