Client Sophos shows Services not running, but Sophos Central shows everything is fine

Hi all,

On users' devices Sophos Endpoint shows Services not running. I have checked that all Sophos services are running on the client device, and the diagnose test also show everything passed. On Sophos Central users device showing everything is fine too. 

May I know is it some kind of visual bug?

**tried restarting the laptop/desktop, does not help**

  • I had the same thing on 1400+ devices this morning. Whilst on the phone to support I posted a question to their Twitter account, here is the reply:

     

    Hi Andy, The issue that you have reported was identified due to a corrupt file which has been resolved. You can either force update the devices to do an update or wait for it to automatically update and resolve itself.

    My devices seem fine now but it took several hours to resolve.
