Mavericks, Help!!!

I would like to upgrade to OS X 10.9 Mavericks, but I don't understand if Sophos is compatible with the new operating system, someone can tell me if it is compatible and if it is causing slowdowns??

  • If you want to try Sophos AV for Mac again you'll need to first uninstall Avast - you must not run two AV products on the same computer, at the same time.

I'd recommend downloading Sophos AV for Mac (version 9), uninstall Avast, rebooting, running the download from your downloads folder.

If it has a problem check the update log for information.  It's normally something simple.  To access the log open Preferences, select the logging tab and then click 'View Log Contents'.
