Mavericks, Help!!!

I would like to upgrade to OS X 10.9 Mavericks, but I don't understand if Sophos is compatible with the new operating system, someone can tell me if it is compatible and if it is causing slowdowns??

    Sophos AV and Mavericks are working just fine. I haven't found any difference beteween Sophos AV on Mountainlion and Mavericks.

    Hello,

    Sophos v8 was not more able to get connected to main server afetr upgrading my iMac to maverick.

    Neither after upgrading my Sophos.

    I've read somewhere it was a temporary server connection issue, however after 2 months, the message is still the same.

    I have a basic user profile, so I've unistalled and re-installed sophos...no way.

    Finally I unistalled Sophos and installed Avast: looks working well...so far.

    Anyway I was happy using Sophos, so if anyone of you help me making it work I'll use again

    If you want to try Sophos AV for Mac again you'll need to first uninstall Avast - you must not run two AV products on the same computer, at the same time.

    I'd recommend downloading Sophos AV for Mac (version 9), uninstall Avast, rebooting, running the download from your downloads folder.

    If it has a problem check the update log for information.  It's normally something simple.  To access the log open Preferences, select the logging tab and then click 'View Log Contents'.
