Ran the latest update - and when clicked scan - after about 2 minutes - received message -
could not start - Thanks for any help!!!

It would help us a great deal if we could look at the log file produced by Sophos Virus Removal Tool, you can find details at the bottom of this knowledge base article: http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/113298.aspx. Post back with the log and hopefully we can troubleshoot this further for you.
