Threat disappears

Question

Mac 10.8.5 and Sophos 9.0.11

Get alert and open Quarantine Manager and item listed. When I click the lock to make changes, the threat disappears from the list before I can clean up threat.

The preferences are set on default ... when a threat is found: Deny access

Does this mean the threat is no longer a threat and need to do nothing.

If it disappears when opening the QM then it shows SAV can't see the file any more and it's moved/deleted itself.

Scan the computer if you want to be sure but commonly items detected in a web browser cache, which then gets flushed, appear and disappear. :1017745
